Welcome to Our Farm!

Thank you for your interest in Foggy Bottom Alpacas. Like many other alpaca owners, we realized that, after learning as much about alpacas as we could, we had found the focus of our new farm and business venture.

Since purchasing our first animals in 2008, Foggy Bottom has grown to over 40 Huacayas, mostly breeding females and a select few herdsires. We've built our herd with females from very experienced breeders. Lineages include Peruvian Hemingway, Titan's Clash, Royal Fawn, Simba, Sheer Galaxy and Canadar, to name a few.

Our commitment to this exciting industry is to learn as much as we can from other breeders and operate our business professionally and ethically. Breeding decisions are based on defined fleece improvement goals coupled with an honest assessment of genetic strengths and weaknesses of each animal in our herd.

Our farm is located on 20 rolling acres in Isanti County, one hour north of the Twin Cities, conveniently located close to main roads and towns. We welcome your inquiries and invite you to visit our farm anytime.
